Twitter Leads Social Media Front for Marketers



In a recent study conducted by Kantar Media Compete, results showed that more consumers are influenced to purchase products from Twitter feeds than Facebook posts. 35% of respondents said that Twitter is extremely influential in the purchasing process.

What does this mean? Facebook may have a rising competitor in the marketing and advertising department.

This study proves the importance of engaging your consumers online. Twitter has launched analytics for brands advertising on Twitter allowing them to better understand their online target markets. Companies are able to sponsor tweets, trends, and topics on the social media site, engaging consumers in ways not possible through sites like Facebook.
